Clarity
A productivity app that ties yearly goals to the current week, rewritten once to remove rather than add.
Context
Yearly goals, broken into quarterly milestones and then tasks, with a weekly, quarterly and yearly review ritual. Shared spaces to work up to four. First for myself, with the idea of opening it up later.
My role
Design, specification and development, alone: the spec written before the code, the mockups separately, a security audit before shipping.
Approach
A first version had everything, and it was too much. The second starts from zero, drops the kanban, the statuses, the progress percentage and the streak, and keeps a single weekly cadence with one principle: nothing is ever carried over automatically. An app that lives entirely behind login, highly interactive, with encryption handled in the database and a clearly stated threat model.
